A two component cartridge dispensing system consists of a cartridge, a static mixer, and a manual or pneumatic dispensing gun  all designed to work as an integrated high-performance system. 

The cartridge is a relatively rigid, plastic, disposable container designed to store the two components (resin and catalyst) separately in a specified volumetric ratio (1:1, 2:1, 4:1 or 10:1). 

In the dispensing phase the cartridge is inserted into the dispensing gun and the metered adhesive is forced into the static mixer.  

Cartridges range in size from 2.5mL to 1,500mL.
